Laurastead,
I know what you mean by following posts....I stalked Kats and JKmewright for a while. ;-) Now, we're great friends and planning some GA adventures. Good luck to you and your hubby. If you need any help at all, just send any of us a message. We would be happy to help you guys. Keep us posted on how things go for you.
Kats, you are a crazy girl! You poor things, riding all over creation with no AC right now? Bless your hearts. Ya'll be careful out there. Hubby tells me all the time how rough it is out there in a big truck so I feel for you.
This is probably my last post for a couple of weeks. We are loading up and leaving in 7 short days and I still have a million things to do. Someone put a contract on our house last week, so things are just falling right into place, just solidifying for us that we are doing the right thing. Thanks to everyone on CD for your assistance! I will be talking to ya'll soon (as a GA resident). Take care and God Bless!

Thinking seriously of moving to Georgia, I prefer a small town atmosphere. Low crime and low cost of living. Would only be myself. I want a new start in life. Tired of all that long cold winters. I am in PA right now. I have cousins in GA but not sure where. Any suggestions or idea. Please let me know.
Thanks,
Carlene

I can't check internet much here but I'll try to keep up on all your posts .

Flowery Branch area - Dogs?
I am moving to the Flowery Branch area in about a month. I will be living on a dead end street off of Spout Springs Road, which is definitely not a good place to go walking with my dog.
Any suggestions on good places to walk her that don't require a ton of mileage on my car? Trying to cut back on gas consumption.
Thanks!

Yes Kats, THE Hawaii. I'll be back on September 4th. It can be very beautiful here. I'm on the big island so I don't know what it's like on the others. The hubby's application was accepted. Just waiting to hear anything further. How is everything in GA

Same old-same old here. I am still thinking HAWAII!!! lol
I would love to go sometime. A friend of mine used to live over there and she said the cost of living was astronomical. Some people working 2 & 3 jobs to make ends meet. I would imagine it is very high there, but i should would love to see it sometime!
