No you are not missing anything.. Many of the state forums have a chat thread. You can post things like..
has anyone tried the new X restaurant?
We had a really bad storm last night with a lot of wind. anyone have damage?
anyone going to the State fair?
Does anyone know where I can get fresh shrimp?
If no one is interested I will remove it..

OH! I'm sorry, I just didn't understand. I thought there was supposed to be a link to a GA chat room or something!

Eclipse!
Anyone see the eclipse last night? Beautiful, rust brown color at full eclipse. What caused the unique color? It was a great night to watch - and next one is about 3 years away...

Darn, I missed it.. I knew it was going to happen too. They said you could see Saturn rings if you had a telescope.

Can a future Georgian speak? We can't wait to move down from NC. You guys are so friendly. What a wonderful surprise. We are really excited. For anyone looking to move to a friendly place, anywhere in GA is good I say. Have not met anyone unfriendly. Thanks GEORGIA......What an inspiration.!!!

I'm in the same boat. I was going to move to TN where my daughter and her family live, but my heart is really in Glynn county. Now my daughter might be taking a job that will take her who knows where, so all bets are off! Yee Ha!

Hey there! Just wanted to say its good to see people excited about moving from out of state areas to GA,as I myself am transplanting from the rainy state of WA and cannot wait to get down to GA to start my new promotion. But I confess that I teeter between excitement and trepidation at least twice a day - its a big change, Seattle to Atlanta/Columbus. But I am happy to see that there are alot of things and nice people to look forward to! Enjoy your day everyone!

Grant...I think one of the best things about moving to GA from WA is you will actually get to see what the sun looks like. :-) As you know, I have found Georgians to be completely wonderful. I am sure you will too. Good luck to your in your new position and in your move. I am sure you will enjoy GA!
