Having lived there, this is my perspective: No. I still live in the surrounding areas(until I save up to leave). There is not much to offer for anyone around age 25. I speak from experience. Areas closer to the Perimeter would be better.

Have lived in Dallas for 19 years. The schools are decent, not as good as Cobb. I don't think it has much to offer a 25 year old. If you like a slower, laid back lifestyle it may be for you. The biggest issue is there is no easy access to an interstate. Luckily I work from home a few days a week. I dread the ride to the office.
