Stay on the northside of Atlanta and crime should not be an issue.. I'd suggest North Fulton County.

Wrong!West cobb!!South Fulton(Fairburn,Camp Creek,)Henry County;Mcdonough,Locust Grove,.Peachtree City,Fayetteville in Fayette County.Fairview,Covington,Woodstock,Marietta,Sandy Springs,Duluth and the list goes on.No offence , but making blanket statements like that are not helpful. To be helpful if you don't know much about a place, just say you don't know much about don"t exclude them unless you have facts to support why.All these areas and more are very nice places to live, with at worst average crime rates.I know you hate Georgia and especially Augusta but be fair. These places i mentioned are not my cup tea as a single male but to answer the persons basic question, there are many places in and around the city of 5million people that love to call those areas home wilth crime not being amajor issue.

Default I live in Canton, GA

Hi guys,

I live in Canton GA. Five minutes from Waleska, GA. And I completely love it! I am only 2 hours from TN and 45 minutes or an hour from Atlanta. Not to mention it is just now starting to bust open with population. and has a wonderful shopping district of it's own. Tons of restaurants and just a neat little town away from the city but not too far from the city that you would have to spend a day driving to get there.

We are partial to the country life (But, still being a city slicker) so we are going to move a little further north. To something like Blue Ridge, GA.

Always,

Taslo

Gwinnett County is great. Try Lawrenceville (30043), Suwanee (30024), or Buford (30519). All of these are beautiful, great schools and very safe. The taxes in Lawrenceville (30043) are about $2000 a year and we love it here.
If you need a great realtor call Danthika Borst. She worked very hard for us and we recommend her to everyone who needs a realtor. Her number is 404-843-2500.

Have a job lined up first, then live close to it.

I'm originally from Philly, now in West Palm Beach, FL. Will be relocating as well to Georgia. From my research, it looks like Snellville is for me. Google Snellville Georgia Detailed Profile. You'll find answers to all your questions. The crime rate is extremely low. Housing is inexpensive. I can't wait! Good luck!
