I live near the mall and just give this area one moment we will rebound. This area is not trying to gear towards a high end Lenox although the tax dollars are in the area. I see this as being a very nice area on the Perimeter caliber. It is currently construction going on to add a Dicks Sporting, Hobby Lobby, Ross, TGIFridays to name a few. The mall has new ownership (
Developer Considers A Revitalized, Open Air Northlake Mall | WABE 90.1 FM ) and they are really considering turning it into an outdoor mall area. Converting the area into a very nice out door mall would be something different on this east side of the perimeter. Something similar to the Renaissance Colony in Ridgeland, MS (
Things to Do ). Grab a few name brand anchors that we do not have on this side of the metro.
