Looking for a better life in Ga. My family and I will be moving to Ga. from Fl.in a few months. I have a 3 year old son and a 9 year old daughter. looking for good schools, neighborhood and most of all, diversity. Any advice will help. Thank you.

Where in Georgia do you want to be? big city? small town? I live in Atlanta and can comment on life here, but thats about it.

I would like something in between if possible. Do you know anything about the following counties? Paulding, Cherokee, Henry, Newton. I need a place that's diverse. thanks

I do know a little bit about cherokee, you can sift through some of my other posts on the forum for some of that info. Not familiar with the other counties, but I did hear Henry was one of the fastest growing the country.

My wife and I have lived in Cherokee county for two years now and love our neighborhood and community. The only drawback is if you have to drive I-575 to I-75 for work. That is a big determining factor around here. You have to take traffic into consideration when moving into a new place.

Hi there neighbor, I'm in Miami Lakes FL and I used to live in Hoschton, GA. In fact I'm trying to find work there again to move back. Kidwise, my kids went to Fort Daniel Elementary in Dacula. It was the most wonderful school andthe kids adored it. I regret moving back here and am dying to go back... Flowery Branch is also beautiful and affordable. DAcula, Hoschton, Buford, Flowery Branch, Gainesville. All those you should check out...Good Luck!
