Let me point out what I said in my post. I'll make it bold for you so you can't miss it

"My wife and I are Liberal and not religious, and we met others in our subdivision that share the same views. But it is a mostly Conservative area. I've noticed Liberals down here tend to not display/wear it on their sleeve like in other parts of the country. So theoretically there could be TONS around here. Just don't know until you start talking to them"

I wasn't trying to make Woodstock come across as "Liberal". Far from it. Just pointing out that more and more people are moving to the area (like my wife and I) that may share the same beliefs as the OP. And I also pointed out that although it may appear that "everyone" is fairly conservative in this area, it could be due to the fact that Liberals down here (the South in general) don't necessarily display it/or are outspoken about it.

Well said, while Liberals are not the majority in that area, there are plenty of them and growing. More important is to respect everyone I don't care if they are conservative or liberal as long as they are decent human beings and respect others.

Its natural to want to be around some people that share similar interests/beliefs. Doesn't automatically make them not "respect" people with other beliefs.

Try asking a very religious, conservative, born and bred Southerner if they would move to the heart of San Francisco. I could guess what their response would be.

The only liberal place where you're going to find a 2/2 for under $1,000 a month is Athens.

Whatever you do, don't move anywhere in Georgia besides Atlanta and Athens. Once you leave these two cities, even the Democrats are socially conservative and overly religious. I currently live in Columbus and hate it.

Hey - I'm liberal. Okay, I'm very liberal. However, I live in the most conservative place possible, I think. I know very few liberals in my area. However, the fact that I'm in the small minority has not impacted my quality of life whatsoever. My neighbors and friends are all pretty conservative yet still are friendly, nice and welcoming.

I don't get the need to ask for liberal areas anywhere in the south. What does that even mean? that there are no conservatives anywhere? that no one ever goes to church? Well, that won't happen anywhere in the south in even the most liberal of enclaves.

Liberals live alongside conservatives in every corner of Georgia. Why does the percentage have to be at a certain level to live somewhere?

Sadly this is a countrywide problem in which most Americans chose to separate ourselves by our political views. This is not good for our country, we need to be able to live among each other and learn to live with each other. I don't have a problem because I don't judge people as good or bad by their political stance and if it gets into a political discussion, I say my peace hear theirs and then say time to move on.
