Here are a couple pictures from Augusta. The last two weeks were the first time I have spent any time in this city. This place is not nearly as bad as some say it is... I enjoyed myself these last two weeks.
The haunted Pillar (notice the strange shadow)

Jam 5 obviously has a shopping center fetish. No disrespect intended but those pix of shopping centers you keep sending look exactly like shopping centers I've seen in surburbs throughout Atlanta, Ohio, Florida, Texas, New Jersey, etc. etc. Could you please find something more original to show of your city.

This is why I stopped posting pictures in here. I travel all over the state and see some pretty cool stuff along the way. After I post a couple of shots of my travels for all to enjoy I find them buried two pages back because someone wanted to post 25 shots of a mall in Columbus (again) or 30 shots of growth in Macon (again). Never mind the neat little towns I pass through like Fitzgerald, La Grange, Hawkinsville or Tifton. I gave up. We all have our convictions... but I wish we (some of us) were not so redundant. I think, every so often, it is cool to see a bull in a field of yellow flowers just outside of Americus, or a wading bird fishing in West Point Lake....

Savannah is one of the most beautiful cities in Ga. You just CANT take a bad picture there. It is so interesting and full of history. I don't think I would want to live there, only because I like the farmlands/country, but it is a beautiful, beautiful place.

Well this thread of pictures of Georgia turned out to be pictures of Macon and Columbus. Wonder where is the rest of Georgia.

Jillian2,
I have tried. I gave up because of the rink in Columbus and the growth in Macon.
Here is a panoramic shot of West Point Lake from the cabin I am staying in while working out-of-town.
Here is a picture of a mail box near Eastman, Ga.. I call it an anti-bill mailbox. I have applied for a patent... order now while supplies last!
I snapped this picture of an Otter in a small pond near Hawkinsville.
Granted, these picture do not really show much of Georgia but I will start taking more of the towns I pass through.
High Falls State Park near Forsyth, Ga.
Some turtles in a public fishing area near Thomaston, Ga.
