Those things can be confusing to read, but as of about 11:47 PM EST it looks like about just under 292,000 votes had been counted in DeKalb County.

And it appears that there may be more votes to be counted and reported from DeKalb County as of that time.

OK...

With 97% of precincts reporting on both:

One part of CNN shows Bordeaux ahead (with 52%).

Another part of CNN shows Woodall ahead (with 51%).

Default What a crazy governor election!

With Stacey Abrams refusing to concede, it's anybody's guess what's going to happen with our governor's mansion.

But I think that's only part of the story. The bigger story is that it's this close at all. Is Georgia on the verge of turning blue? Looking at the map, there are some interesting things happening....

Can you believe Cobb County went to Abrams? Not by a little...54% to 45%. Also Douglas county...59.2% to 39.9%. That's a bigger margin than Gwinnett!

That surprised me quite a bit. There's really a lot to this story. What sticks out to you?

99% reporting, Kemp has 50.8 percent of the vote, I think he needs 51 to fully win or it goes to a runoff.

Nope, he needs 50% plus 1 additional vote. 50.8% is way more than one additional vote. That's a majority win.

Don't feel bad though, some of the talking heads also didn't understand it lol.

Not shocking educated suburban white voters despite a higher 401K and better jobs still will not fall for racists fear rhetoric. More moderate democrats in the next election should continue the wave.

Kemp is taking the win most likely without a runoff, still it's amazing it was this close.
