My family and I are potentially relocating to the Augusta area for a new job. I am happy in the Winston Salem Greensboro area and wanted some comparisons of lifestyle from anyone familiar with both the Augusta and Greensboro area.

Big step down.
Here's a cpl of articles that appeared in the local Augusta newspaper recently where locals discussed what they thought about Augusta.. It isn't pretty. The "comments" section says it all. Keep in mind this is how the locals feel about their own city..imagine what it is like for a newcomer like yourself. I have been to both cites numerous times before. With your new job augusta would make a lovely choice. Downtown augusta is going through a major turning point. Augusta is becoming quite the city.
