Homes are very similar to St. Marlo without the golf course, gates and security. Also, the lots are much bigger and you're still in Forsyth county. All depends on what you're looking for I guess...

Cheers!
Good to know.

Good Luck!

There are plenty of kids here... we have a 5 and 1 year old.

There are lots of nice townhomes close to St. Marlo. There's a brand new community going up across the street that I believe are in the $200's, I'll try to get the info on my way to work tomorrow. BTW, there's a home across from us that was built in 2004 that originally listed for $819K. It's listed today for $675K and I know they would take ~$600K, maybe even less.

Tara, I'll send an email too, but the townhomes across the street from St. Marlo are these >

McCar Homes (http://www.mccarhomes.com/FindYourHome/Communities/Default.aspx?communityName=The%20Gates%20At%20John s%20Creek - broken link)

Sign says from the $290's, but in this market there should be room to bargain. There's also a new ranch home community directly adjacent to the McCar homes that's targeted for those 55+ years old, but I did not see any pricing listed as I drove by this morning. Finally, there's a very nice mixed home/townhome community right next to St. Marlo called Weston, but I believe the sign there says from the high $300's.

Weston | Neighborhood | | John Wieland Homes

Let me know if you need any additional info.

Hi,
We are making yet another trip to the area from Canada this weekend (may 31st) we are still deciding between St.Marlo and Laurel Springs. we like the properties in St. Marlo, but wish the golf course was private like Laurel Springs. We are looking for deals! If you have any leads i would love to know. thanks all!
