Default Roswell--help!

I am applying for a job in Roswell, but am a little hesitant since I've never been there. I read that CNN named it one of the best places to live, but I want to check with some of you to gather a little more input. I'm 23 and gay, so I'm looking for somewhere that has a lot to do for young people (lots of restaurants, decent nightlife, etc.) and somewhere that is "tolerant" of my lifestyle. I know that Atlanta is very gay-friendly, but it is my experience that when you get into some of those southern suburbs, they tend to be very conservative. Is this the case with Roswell? I would love any input anyone may be able to give me! Thank you!
