Default Hartwell, Russell Clarks Hill lakes area Help

I am a teacher and I am planning a move to Georgia. I am an avid fisherman so I am keying on counties with lakes in them. I am interested in Hartwell, Clarks Hill and Russell lakes area. I realize these waters span many counties. It would be great if someone could make some recomendations on areas to be looking into with an emphasis on quality of area and school systems. I appreciate any help anyone can offer me.

Lake Russell is the premier area for fishing. It is the mouth of the Savannah River, just below the Hartwell dam. There are no docks allowed on Lake Russell, which minimalizes the number of speed boats, skiing, jet skis, etc. Also, the corps of engineers has 300' minimum set backs from the water, so there are many good, natural areas left for fishing, with few loud distractions to drive the fish away. Plus, since it is an electricity providing lake, the lake level never drops. And, the minimum set backs keep most lake lots from having great water views, so you aren't looking at massive prices like you would for a lot in most lake-front communities. Hope this helps!

I live in Canon, GA and our property is for sale. It has 19/12 plus secluded acres. Lake Hartwell is 13 miles from us. We know all the good fishing areas. If interested contact me.
