Same bitter post about augusta everytime. What strip malls have 2 or 3 hilton hotels like the VAR. Have a costco, 18-screen starplex cinema, a pizza extreme, a movie tavern, belk, and bass pro shops. Also 100 speciality stores. And this is only what we know so far. You know more store are coming since bass pro announced its coming.
You do know MGHering the company behind the village at riverwatch in augusta opening 2009. Is the same company building the village at fairveiw. Which is going to be the largest lifestyle center in the united states located in dallas/ft. worth. The company is based in dallas texas.

The Village at Fairview is a 200-acre development designed to be a super regional shopping, dining, and entertainment destination that will serve North Texas residents. The development is the first component of a 400-acre mixed-use development comprised of The Village at Fairview and The Village at Allen, a total of 3 million square feet of commercial space split by Stacy Road. MG Herring says Collin County, in which the development resides, is the most affluent county in Texas and the fastest-growing large county in the U.S. MG Herring has primed the development for future service by the pending DART public rail line system.
The layout of the Village at Fairview will be centered around the lifestyle center, which includes 500,000 square feet of specialty shops and restaurants. The Macy's, Dillard's, JC Penney, Container Store, and Barnes & Noble and Gold Class Cinema will anchor the perimeter of the lifestyle center. The architecture is reminiscent of a Texas ranch and features included animated dancing water features, mature landscaping, park-like areas, pedestrian walkways, and outdoor seating.
