Schools In Georgia
Could anyone provide information regarding the schools in Georgia that would be considered integrated, theme-based, magnet? I'm not what the state of Georgia calls certain schools that include arts, music, etc as part of the traditional academic curriculum. In Illinois there has been some serious cuts in funding such "extra-curricular" activities such as music programs, arts program, sports programs. However in the school district where my children attend school they have several magnet public schools which includes like arts, science, communication integrated within the academic curriculum.
I'm seriously interested in what high schools in Georgia would have a strong arts or music program since my oldest will be entering high school in the Fall. Although my children are academically prepared, I don't want their other talents to simply rely on private lessons.
