Georgia blows outside of Atlanta, but you guys just don't get it. This question is just retarded. None of these cities will ever be major. If these cities become major then we are going to have an abundance of major cities around America, seeing how there are so many more cities in other states that aren't major as of right now, yet doing so much better than all of the Georgia cities.
Who cares about any other city in Georgia besides ATL, and Savannah sometimes?

Haha all of the bars and clubs downtown. That doesn't include other bars and clubs not located downtown. Those places don't close until 2:30 or 3 AM. Go downtown one night and see for yourself. You are delusional man.
By the way, have you even been to Columbus? By the way you are talking it doesn't sound like you know anything

I usued to live in Washington, DC and there were few restaurants open all night besides IHOP.. and you had to go to the burbs for that. Does that mean that Washington, DC is not a "major City" based on your criteria?

UGA's Terry College of Business Selig Center issues an annual economic outlook for the state of Georgia. It is considered THE most respected and most cited source for predicted economic activity for the upcoming year. The report said that Columbus would see the highest job growth rate of any metro area in Georgia and that trend would likely continue for the next 5 years.

Columbus now gets the honor of having the most car thefts in georgia/alabama beating out even atlanta!! rofl
City leaders are now having second thoughts on BRAC development as they are in no way prepared for this massive amount of dependents in local schools etc and expect unemployment rate to escalate at last months commerce meeting.
Maybe ATLCOL1 can come down and save the city being a big time developer!!

They have also struck out on predictions the last several years and anyone with any economic sense knows you cannot predict job growth rates 5 years up the road.....even corporate ceo's laugh at these predictions.

Haha why would the unemployment rate go up? More people equals more development which creates more jobs. Simple economics my friend. Please leave Columbus if you live there, the city would be much better off. Obviously you hate it so why not leave? Do us a favor and GO!
