Georgia's Most Polluted Cities
The American Lung Association just released their list of the 25 Most Polluted Cities for Year-round Particulate Matter.
NOt surprisingly metro Atlanta comes in at #6 (all of that traffic is pumping a lot of nasty stuff into the air).. but it's not the only Georgia city to make the top 25 list. Macon comes in at #12 and Augusta makes the list at #21.. these cities scored poorly because of heavy industrial pollution rather than from autos.. Savannah and Columbus did not make the top 25 list. Most Polluted: Year-Round Particle Pollution
