Default Gwinnett or Cobb

Hello,

My family is planning to move this July and we are still trying to decide which county (Gwinnett or Cobb) would be best for us. Are there certain areas that are more family oriented than others? We need good schools, safety, and an area that is not likely to depreciate significantly in the next 5 years or so.

Posts regarding any of the issues we are concerned about are greatly appreciated.

Why don't you post your question in the Atlanta section as you will get more responses. It will be helpful to me too because I also will be moving in July.

What type of home and community do you hope to find? What size lot?
Price range?

The 'Schools' thread at the top of the Atlanta forum will have a great deal of FYI about the schools. Several of the top GA high schools are located in East Cobb. Gwinnett and Forsyth counties have a number of excellent schools, too.

Schools start in GA around the 2nd week in August.

Suwanee is a good area for families in Gwinnett.

You might want to post again in the Atlanta forum if you need more specific answers.
