Moving to Duluth (Atlanta, Norcross: homes, work, schools)

I am moving to Duluth, Ga this summer. I am considering moving into Bridgewater Luxury Apartment Homes on Ridge Brook Trail, right off of Satellite Blvd. (off of 85 exit 102) Is this a good choice? How safe is the area?

Can you tell me about my commute to work? I will have to take Pleasant Hill Road to get to and from work. I will be working right off of Pleasant Hill.

How about the schools? Beaver Ridge Elementary?

Hmmmm. If your working off Pleasant Hill Road. Exit 104, then I would suggest the apartments by Sugarloaf or those off McGinnis Ferry Road.
Better location off Exit 107 or 108.

I can only suggest that you contact Gwinnett County PD and ask for stats on the apts/area. There have been some significant problems around Pleasant Hill for a while now. Transitioning toward more Asian/Hispanic population. Satellite Blvd is just off Pleasant Hill so the commute shouldn't be bad--traffic stays intense in this area. There are better options--I'd say keep looking.
