Moving to Atl from VA in July
Hello everyone,
I'm currently living in Virginia Beach, VA and have finally decided to move back to the Atlanta area. I joined the Navy in 98 and got out in December of 2006. I've been working as a Systems/Network Administrator here, but I want to move back to my home. I was wondering if any one knows of any places that could help veterans with job assistance I plan on moving down there July 1st. I don't have a job lined up (i know, it's not the smartest thing) but I'm trying to find something. It's just harder to find something two months out; most places I've talked to want to hire someone now...not later on down the road. If anyone has any information that could provide me any assistance, I greatly appreciate it.

Atlanta Vet Center - Facilities Locator & Directory I believe this is located in midtown Atlanta. There are a number of posters in the Atlanta forum that are familiar with this area if you need recs for places to stay.

thanks a lot. I'm going to be staying with a friend of mine in the Fayetteville area for a while until i can find a job and a place to live. i know the market sucks for work, but i'm hoping to find something soon. thanks again.

just go to yahoo and type in "atlanta + jobs + Systems/Network Administrator" and u should be able to find plenty of them

Hi There!
I just relocated from Northern, VA last year. Fairfax County to be exact! Check out indeed.com. Just type in Systems Engineer for job type, and Atlanta, GA for city. It is a search engine that pulls all of the jobs from every job search engine. It is like a one stop shop. Also check out Tempus IT Technical Staffing. This is how we relocated. Good luck with your job seach, and the move.
