Default College Grad Possibly Relocating to Brunswick, GA?

Hey everyone!

I'm graduating in a few days from Appalachian State (Boone, NC, for those not in the know ). I am fortunate enough to have landed a great job already, and they have asked if I am interested in relocating to Brunswick, GA.

Normal moving jitters aside, what do y'all think of Brunswick for a single, college-educated twenty-something female? I've always lived in small towns, so an extreme lack-of nightlife wouldn't be a culture shock.

I'm hoping for a place that has a good, healthy atmosphere of twenty-somethings and small-town appeal. And hopefully a place where I can find a decent, safe, reasonably-priced apartment...well, a safe place in general would be amazing. Haha.

Be honest with me! I'm not going to lose my job if I choose to not move to Brunswick -- this is just an option I was given.

THANKS Y'ALL!

Brunswick actually has a network of twentysomethings, but you have to know where to look...frankly, I would join a church, because many of them have really fun singles groups.
If you go to B'wick, try St. Marks Episcopal..you'll find a great church family there, not too "preachy".
Go into Spanky's Marshside, too...they have a great happy hour crowd that is very open to newcomers.
Just be open to the local scene, and you'll find your way soon enough.

Do you play golf? If you are a female that plays golf, they'll throw a parade for you!
Seriously, that area is huge on golf and tennis...it's a great way to make social connections.
