I see a lot of people recommending Gainesville, GA. Right on! North Georgia seems to be top notch when it comes to this state. I only wish we'd relocated to Gainesville instead of Columbus when we moved back south 6 1/2 years ago. (We spent 8 years living in Illinois.)

That gets extremely old after a while. I'm 23 and went down to the bars and clubs downtown in the past, but only go every once in a VERY blue moon these days with one of my girl friends (as I'm not single). It's just not the lifestyle for me. Not everyone enjoys partying. For single chicks who enjoy a party, I guess it's alright. That place is crawling with army guys. But if partying it up on the weekends isn't your cup of tea...for anyone in their teens and 20's -- Columbus is a huge bore.

Well Atlanta is the worst but Gwinnett County / Norcross, Lawrenceville, Tucker. Cobb County. Any city away from atlanta is good.
