Thinking about moving to Georgia from Boston, looking for a 2 bedrom house a place to raise 2 teenager away from the influence of the fast paced city. A 2bedroom apt in boston averages between 11 and 1,4.00 mo. We like lots of yard space, quite, low crime, well kept properties

I thinking about moving to somewhere around atlanta ga.
What are some great locations with low crime but about 35 mins to Atlanta,Ga.

What can you tell me about this cities
McDonough
Ellenwood
Lithonia
Stone Mountain
Buford

I been to Gwinnett County, but I only like Buford, GA.

I have to kids there 20 and 21. They go to GA Tech and Emory. Also, live on campus and since Ill be moving there. I want to take them off campus, so I need a citiy close to school but not that far away since they will be driving. They also, love the city life.

I live the city, but I want a nice area where I can walk my dog and use both my feet to walk and drive to places if probably. I currently live in Washington,DC. Where we use bus and metro and walking and car.

Marietta is a nice town located in Cobb County.

Which type of college are you looking for?

anything specific you would like to know?

if you're looking for a job in the city, don't move there.

if you have children you want to send to school in the same town you live in, don't move there.

it is a decent place with decent people, but its not for everyone.

Covington is not the place to be for anyone single in their 20s and 30s. Amici's-the only bar in town-just lost its liquor license. The town's events and activities are for families with small kids, senior citizens, or married women. Nothing to do on weekends. No movie theater. The most exciting places to be on Friday night are Kroger and Walmart. Don't live in suburban Georgia if you're single. Move to the city!

look into the small towns in North GA. there are several right outside of Chattanooga, TN within a 15 minutes drive. Ringgold, Ft. Oglethorpe, and Chickamauga are all really nice. You are only two hours from other bigger cities i.e. ATL, Nashville, Birmingham, and Knoxville. Just a thought. Chattanooga is nice and beautiful. There are also a lot of new jobs with the Volks Wagon plant that just opened.
