Waiting on townhouse deal in Georgia
So hears the deal_ my family want s to purchase a condo for me to live in in which I will be paying the mortgage on, for the forseeable future. We have put down earnest money for a condo in Griffin Georgia. This was the first week in April. We made a $65,000 offer. This was a forclosed home like many these days. We are jsut trying to take advantage of a better deal than spending $600 a month on an apartment and having nothing to show for it in the end. The bank is taking its sweet time and the realtor keeps us abreast of the situation periodically. So we look online and there's some nice condos and in the $50K-$60K range-in the town of McDonough. I was wondering about the opinions of the postrers on here. What town do you like best, Griffin or McDonough?
