Red face Relocating to Georgia, HELP PLEASE

If anyone can please give me any advice on moving out of state. We currently reside in Hartford, CT & was looking to move to Georgia. We are looking to rent a three bedroom apartment. We have two children 5 & 3. I am in the human service/elementary education field. We want to live near Atlanta or what ever is cheaper. Can you include information on schools for the children & are there any community colleges I'll be able to attend? And if anyone knows the salary or how much an preschool teachers starting pay is can you tell me. I was looking into Conyers I believe it's in Rockdale County? Can you also tell me some prices for three bedroom apts? We are looking to move in March of next year!

Octaviam, I don't know the first thing about the area close to Atlanta so I cannot help but just wanted to wish you well in your search. Good luck to you and hope you and your family enjoy living in GA.

I have heard a lot of about Conyers going downhill....we live in Cherokee County which is about 30 miles NorthWest of Atlanta and love it! We are close to anything we need but then far enough away. We have great school districts here!

I don't know anything about apartments, but I found this link which has reviews of the apartments.

Woodstock Apartments for Rent with Ratings & Reviews by Woodstock Renters at ApartmentRatings.com

Here's a link to teacher salaries, I don't know how accurate it is, but maybe it can offer some help.

It's funny how you want to move to Georgia, and I would love to move up to the New England area!! (at least I think I would, sometimes the grass is greener on the other side).
