we live in jupiter fl now and really dilike this town
it was a small town tha grew so fast now crime is high and traffic sucks
Ive heard thers places in south Georgia that are still small and are not booming. North Georgias homes are very expensive and only rising. We were small towns but the influx of Floridians and rich people from Atlanta has changed are ways. Our Traffic getting bad and our crime is rising fast. People are becoming less freindly by the day. Try doing some research on south Georgia because Northern Georgia is becoming what youre trying to leave.

Luvthesouth, you could check out effingham county. I've heard there is a huge flea market in the Savannah area. I haven't made it there myself. But a lot of our friends have gone and got great deals.

Low Rent and Low Crime...hmmm...possibly Statesboro? I say that because its relatively low crime, good doctors, not sure about renting but with the University there, you should be able to find something. Effingham county might suit you, Very low crime and still very affordable housing, and the decent medical facilities in savannah are not too far.

Just a stab in the dark but I think you would probably like the Lake Sinclair and Lake Oconee areas. The city names are Greensboro (my top choice), Eatonton, and Milledgeville (least favorite of 3). Check out Reynolds Plantation and Cuscowilla area. More expensive than you want, but any services business does extremely well here. Will not be hard to find your price range in the immediate rural area. Even lake view mobile homes easily go for a quarter milllion but are generally kept to southeast of the area; however, you can still find nice new homes with acreage away from lake starting around the low 100's.

Forsyth, Warner Robins, Perry, Hawkinsville, Thomaston, Cordele, Tifton, Douglas, Valdosta, Thomasville, Blakely would be good places to start.

Plus just about anywhere you go you'll be an 'outsider'.

So good luck w/your move to GA!
Good to see you know so much about Ga. What do you base your statements on besides pure liberal bull crap?
