Default Moving to the Hephzibah/Augusta Area

maybe moving to the area
I have been very seriously considering moving to the area and would like to know what the job market is like in the area. My work back ground is Payroll and Benefits Administrator that has also served in many other areas of a large company from customer service to dispatch and accident investigation. is there much chance of finding a job that i can make a living on in the area? I also would like to know if the rentals in the area are in safe areas and reasonably priced.

I do appreciate any input that you may have to keep me from moving to the wrong area where I have to worry about my 14 year old son.

The schools and neighborhoods are better in Columbia County than in Richmond County or anywhere near Hepzibah. In Columbia, you might try neighborhoods near Martinez and Evans. With your work experience, you should be able to find work.

An alternative would be the Columbus area or Savannah.

And the nieghborhoods are definitely not better in columbia county. All the trailer parks in columbia county must be really nice i guess. West augusta by far is the best place in the city. And its located in richmond county. Good schools, great neighborhoods, no crime, and easy access to the interstate. There are alot of new 200k to 300k new neighborhoods being built in hepzibah everyday. The city of hepzibah is as nice and quiet as any area in georgia. Go visit the area first and judge for yourself.
