I know nothing about Misty Creek.

You could try:

--The Park on Briarcliff/N. Druid Hills--managed by Gables Properties--they do some subsidized housing--DeKalb Housing Authority. 1/2 and maybe 3 bedrooms --70's apartments mainly--spacious rooms, well landscaped, dog park, pond and pool/tennis courts and outdoor communal gathering area.

The apts start around $650.

Emory people live there. On MARTA and the Cliff bus route runs through Executive Park. Plenty of places to eat and shop. A Target across from the QT on N. Druid Hills.

~~~
---'The Clifton' on Briarcliff Rd--before Sage Hill Shopping Center. Bound to be expensive and 'new'/90's.
--On N. Druid Hills headed South--toward Toco Hill--Kroger/Publix--another Gables Community. Diverse, young professionals, good place for dogs.
--Or come and rent a house in Briarcliff Heights--between N. Druid Hills and Clairmont --just after Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church--Beacon Hill Blvd. Several houses available--50's houses--some renovated--renting between $1200-1500/mo. Emory people, with dogs, diverse--on Marta--1/3 acre lots with trees that have been growing since the early 50's.
---Or go live at Clairmont/Buford Hwy/Skyland--some renovated townhomes--been there since WW2. Cannot think of their names--??Dresden something maybe.
All up and down Briarcliff Rd and at Clairmont/N. Druid Hills there are apartments--filled with Emory people. Get a car and go and look, that is all I can tell you. Apartments beside the Briarcliff library look good. Might be another Gables or Post property.
It is pretty easy to have whatever you want here.
