Depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a school that is strong academically and that's it, than look no further than Woodland and most of its feeder schools. For a strong academic AND athletic school then you should look at Cartersville High School and its feeder schools. Those two high schools are the best in Bartow County and you will be happy with either decision.

As far as rentals you would want to stay away from the Downtown Cartersville area because that is where the low income areas are at but most other parts of Cartersville are okay as long as you are not going to far out from town.

Yeah, Woodland is a very nice school that has a great wrestling and basketball program. They've won state in wrestling a few times in the past couple of years. While Cartersville High School is known for football and baseball. Cartersville won the last senior league world series and if I'm not mistaken they have one of the highest ranked baseball players in the nation if not #1, Donovan Tate. Oh yeah they just won state too. Many college athletes are produced there and quite a bit have gone pro. Major college scouts come to their games consistantly. Academics are good at both schools but I'd say Woodland has the edge at this momment. Both have a good mix between lower income to higher income students and everybody gets along well.

I concur with my Woodland vote. Overall, I think the schools in Bartow County are great for children who are active in sports and the arts. I understand the Cass district has an equine program, as well.

I agree! We live in euharlee Ga which is located in the Woodland schools district. My daughter starts kindergarden this year so I do not know personally but all I have heard are good things. Woodland Highschool is great. Great programs for the kids.

The Woodland HS/Woodland MS/Euharlee Elementary districts are some of the best.
