Red face Statesboro

Canyou tell me about Statesboro. As far as Middle Schools, Cost of Living, Arts, Music, Recreation. Beautiful or not? Nursing jobs, Surgical Technologist jobs. I want to relocate but can not decide between Statesboro GA, or Sierra Vista AZ.

Default Statesboro

Statesboro is a very liveable city within 1 hour of Savannah, GA. It is pretty, with good recreation, and most of the arts activities are associated with Georgia Southern University (student population 12,000).

I am not familiar with the middle schools, but the hospital in Bulloch County is East Georgia Regional Medical Center, and could have an availability of jobs.

I was just through there about a month ago...lovely town; there's a street there named for my grandmother's family!
The people I know that live there really enjoy it.

Have you checked out the lastest rate in pay in Georgia. I left because with a technical degree, I could not find work paying more that $8/hr. I left for TX ASAP. $22/hr sounds a bit more normal. I hope they have changed, but check out the rate of pay. The teachers don't make much either.

Pay in Georgia is very low.. especially in smaller cities like Statesboro.. but it is also a very affordable place to live. Statesboro is one of the nicer smaller cities to live in.. and its less than an hour from Savannah. But then AZ is very nice too. They are such different places.. I guess you have to figure out which place fits your personality more.
