Default Anyone know of any LEGAL places in North GA to ride ATV's?

If you know of a place, do you need a permit or special license or any crap like that to ride? THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

Saralyssa, you need Georgia's Outdoor Recreation and Adventure Guide, a website listing information and directions to lots of legal off-road vehicle riding areas, horseback riding, state parks (and so much more; see navigation menu on left at that page).

Here you go:

You dont need a permit to ride atvs around North Georgia and the cops really dont mess with ya. Theres not many places in Blue Ridge anymore the subdivisions being built are taking them over. I ride were live because Im surronded by dirt roads but my 4 wheelers out of commision. I wish I could help ya and Ill ask around for some good spots and their locations. But like I said as long as you got a helmet the cops really wont bug you.

wish there were some places near Newnan. I'm probably going to have to sell my YFZ450 due to the lack of riding areas. I haven't rode it in over a year

Im thinking about selling mine also. The subdivisions have taken up all the land plus all the weekend warriors come UP here and bring like 3 to 6 four wheelers with them and use our roads like their playground. It sucks but theres not enough room and the cops are starting to get worse each weekend.
