I have found some houses in this area..The high school is Starrs Mill, which looked to be a very good school from my research<???>

Is this a nice area?? I am looking for the usual, nice neighborhood, low crime, good schools, FRIENDLY people. Where I live, they are not friendly. I have three kids <8,4,1>. I like quiet but would not like to drive 20 miles to get to a supermarket. I do enjoy convenience of stores. I love the small town feel...meaning the people.

What do you all think? My hubby would work in downtown Atlanta. Any other places you can suggest?

Yes, Yes, and Yes. Peachtree City was named as the 6th best place to live in the country and while not perfect, pretty **** good is a great way to describe Peachtree City.

The Starrs Mill complex is less than a decade old and is a great school. The other high school in Peachtree City, McIntosh, is also very good. The average SAT here is near or at the tops in the state.

Nice area.

If you have money, people will be friendly.

If you are normal, middle class or less, forget it.

Default Amen!

Amen, GottaGetOut! My husband lived in PC and wanted to buy some property and build a log home...PC refused to give him the permits to do so! So he moved to Coweta Co. and we now have a gorgeous log home with a beautifully landscaped lawn that is the envy of many!
