Moving to Jasper/Need help with a rental (Ellijay: apartments, renter)

Can anyone recommend a realtor or individual who handles rentals?

I am hoping to find a quiet duplex or single-family home, but would also be open to townhomes, apartments, etc.
It would be for one person (me -- a 53-year-old single female).

I hope to relocate within eight weeks. Can anyone help?

I meant to add to my previous post that I would be interested in other areas in North Georgia as well.
[I would prefer to rent from a private party.]

I'd be surprised if there was an agent up that way handling rentals- you don't tend to find many rental agents except in heavily populated areas with large numbers of rentals- neither the renter or the owner wants to pay the agent's fees.

You could always try Craigslist. More than likely you'd be working with a private renter rather than any type of property management company. Here's a link to some search results on craigslist:

You are right Mr. Bob -- I found that out today after two days of phone calls and e-mails.
