Can I make a rule?

When we compare our respective cities, can not metion proposed project. I feel they are misleading because Augusta had and still have zillions proposed project havent even shown signs of life. But if you read some these thead you would think Georgia 2nd tier cities are huge, which is not the case. For long time we have comparing proposal, hopes, wishes and not comparing what we have now. It just seem pointless. Notice not many Savannah people get involved in our pissing contests, I wonder why. Just a suggestion.

I think you have hit the nail on the head here. As they say in Missouri, "Show Me." There are lots of proposals, ideas, etc, etc.. but what matters is what actually exists in the real world.

U people are acting like columbus is a ghost town! Columbus and its msa have plenty of projects being planned right now.
1.Macon is overpopulated for its size(compared to Dothan, Alabama)
2. Columbus is spread out and is less densley populated(can be compared to bay county, Florida)
3. Columbus is still larger in area and population than savannah and macon!

Man your post are starting to more and more to make no sense Macon is not compared with cities like Dothan.....But rather Montgomery or Mobile, Charleston, Chattanooga and etc.

Macon is also Spreaded out, Bibb county is about 70% developed and Macon miles of sprawling that travel way out side of the city limits.... Part of Macon even spread into Jones and Twiggs county to East, Monroe to North and now heading into Houston to the south which in a few years will collude with fast growing W.Robins and Byron.... You have to get off interstates to see Macon

On your Next visit try traveling down the newly and fast growing commercial and residential areas main highway corridors like
247(near the airport)
Houston Rd.
Sardis Church Rd.(off of I-75)
Hartley Bridge( off of I75/475 interchange)
Bass Rd. (Off of I-75)
as well as the well known commercial corridors like
Shurlington Dr.
Emory Hwy
Gray Hwy
Riverside Dr
Mercer (Ga 74)
Eisenhower (US80)
Vineville/forysth Rd.
Northside Dr.
Zebulon Rd.(off of 475)
Pionono
Rocky Creek Rd.
Sheraton Dr.
Oculmugee East Blvd.(near GEICO off I-16)

Thats really funny; No one has made ridiciously comments like that but you...................on every post made people has made several comment about Columbus how is feel small and behind the other 2nd Tier cities in every aspect Shopping, Dining, Infrastructure, Under construction Developments, Proposed developments, interstate access, skyline and etc. The only thing that keep Columbus completing with the others is because of the city/ county consolidation it makes people think Columbus is a city of almost 200K when it not. Thats why when people visit Columbus for the first time they think they are going to a city similar to Dayton, Oh, Rochester, NY or Richmond, Va and instead they get a Dothan, Al, Dalton, Rome or W.Robins, GA Look and Feel alike.....Which is kind of a disappointment when you are expecting a larger city and amenities.

Macon, Augusta and Savannah gives you the feel and amenities of a mid size city.....

You said give, i never tried because i know the truth.....
