Well, statistics OBVIOUSLY agrees with me! But you are entitled to your opinion. I respect that. MAcon is great, don't get me wrong, but Columbus is the BETTER place to live!!!!

MSA's are to blame. If you add in all the collar counties you get skewed results like:

Charlotte's 13 counties has a population of 2.3M
Atlanta's 28 counties has 5.3M residents

On some websites, where they list closest city to Augusta of 500,000 population - Charlotte is listed (716,874) NOT Atlanta (537,958). And, Atlanta is closer.

No, I think they are really neck and neck. They are similar in many ways.... In population, shops, dininig, education, history, and entertainment.
