With that many trees, you should have a certified arborist come out and inspect for hazards. I'm not talking about the tree surgeons that tape flyers to your mailbox, I'm talking about ISA certified arborists. You county extention office can suggest some. If you aren't pruning dead branches, rubbing or crossing branches or pruning for clearance of for a better branch structure then you are pruning for no reason at all IMO.

Georgia cities shouldv'e seen a drought in the state coming the rapid growth of the Atlanta and the Second tier cities. Some cities have prepared for it but Atlanta im sad to say have not. The Second tier cities have prepared more for a potential major drought than Atlanta IMO.
