I'm surprised Savannah didn't have one already.. but then again Savannah has so many wonderful local places. I miss breakfasts at Mrs. Wilkes.

I think a cheesecake factory would do good in all those cities. But If I had to choose it would be augusta or savannah. Then columbus and macon

Actually, Savannah is getting one in downtown. It opens in the spring.

Where do y'all think would be the best location for a Cheesecake Factory on the Southside of Atlanta? Think about it and then explain.

Prior to 2004/2005, I would have said the Southlake area (believe it or not). Up until in those years, the Southlake area (the mall, SL Pavilion, the AMC 24, etc) was very centralized (and still is) and attracted patrons/customers from across the Southside...from Peachtree City to Clayton County Proper to Henry County.

This is so true. It is really the Macon-Warner Robins Metro Area.

Check out Watkinsville, GA. I lived near there for a few years recently. The place is littered with rich yuppies and there are no chain restaurants that are not fast food. You have to drive 20 minutes to eat decently.

That is a bold faced lie. I have lived in Augusta all my life and have never heard of anyone say that if you want a decent steak go to Ryan's.
