I could support a Cheesecake Factory in Walker County! :-) If I were stranded on an island, I would want a good book and unlimited supply of cheesecake. Is there one (factory) in Chattanooga?

No. Seems like the only one that is close is the one in Atlanta and Birmingham. Though, the location in Birmingham is having financial troubles.

Since you are from S. Fla, and so am I, I sent you a DM so I wouldn't hijack the thread.

Augusta could support one easily. Our metro is over 530,000 which is over half a million people. Since columbia sc is only 50 minutes away. And greenville, and savannah are just a little farther. They would also come.

Macon/Middle GA area would definitely support a Cheesecake factory, Macon has CSA of over 400,000 and service as a hub for 22 counties in Central GA with a combine pop of over 600,000. There were rumor of a cheese cake factory coming to Macon Premier north side Area as part of one of the 5 upscale Lifestyle centers presently Under construction... As well as a few other New restaurants of that scale......

Greenville, SC is getting one in late 2009. Macon won't get one for at least another five years. They require at least 250,000 population within 7 miles of proposed site. Heck, you guys don't even have a PF Changs yet. Augusta or Savannah will get it before Columbus or Macon.

Augusta will be getting cheesecake factory first. We usually get everything second in georgia after atlanta. Just look how Augusta is the only city outside atlanta that has a pf changs already.

I agree with that. Hey, look at the site plan for Magnolia Park in Greenville for proof of us getting a CCF: http://www.trustedpartner.com/docs/l...ite%20plan.pdf
Note: this is the old site plan but they are still coming.
