Well...I lived in Flushing for 4 years (Roosevelt and Bowne just up from the subway) and I live in the Atlanta area now and have eaten in both areas. You're right that you can find more authentic stuff you want if you ask for it, but your not likely to find much of it on the menu. Vietnamese aside, we were also discussing Chinese, which has been served in the US for many years, and in most areas of the country you can only get the made up "American-ized" stuff. Areas like Flushing are very much the exception.

You can get it in Atlanta..very authentic Chinese.. Canton Cooks in Sandy Springs.. almost as good as what you will find on the west coast.

The fact is if I want bad americanized Chinese food...there's plenty of places to get it a lot cheaper than PF Changs's

and with a large african american population.. they love cheesecake factory (never understood the appeal but go to one and you will see).. so in that case Augusta may be in the running after all.

i just want to no how many people live in the atlanta metro area when i mean the atlanta metro area im talking about were downtown is and the airport all in the atlanta metro area i think its 5 million people or it may be less than that i forgot how many live in the atlanta area

how many people is our city columbus suppose to be adding to our city because of brac relocating here i think columbus has a population of 185,781 which columbus will be adding more to the city because of brac coming here but i dont no how many they said its suppose to be a lot so that will bring our population up to 200,000 thousand people in the columbus area so when all of them people arrive our city may have some heavily and fast traffic at times because of all of them new people rideing and driving on the interstates and highways around in the columbus area i no during rush our the traffic may be bad in columbus we may have traffic jams here thats why there making our roads bigger here in columbus and fixing our roads here in columbus i no the interstate 185 in columbus will have heavily and fast traffic with cars flying and zooming by you in the columbus area like they have cars that zoom and fly by you in the atlanta area
