Between is certainly a unique name for a town. It gets its name though because it is exactly halfway in between Monroe and Loganville.

Always thought Senoia (east Coweta county, just south of Peachtree City) was a strange name. The locals pronounce it SenNOY sort of like it rhymes with "annoy"

Speaking of, that county is a strange name too. We used to say "ever seen a cow eat a county?" and thought we were quite funny. Didn't take much to amuse us back then, lol.

I just thought it was funny.
Working retail years ago I had a woman give me an extra cent so she wouldn't be paying exactly $13.00.

As for town names, there is a Dewy Rose in Elbert county.

Coweta?
Cow-eat-ah?

That city in forsyth county. Don't want to say the name and get yelled at again for suggestive language but it's due north of alpharetta.

That's another one... Alpharetta?

Rockmart????
Welcome to Rock Mart, we got rocks of all styles and sizes.

Matt?? That's a persons name
So is Lula.

Ball ground??? Sounds painful!

Lithonia??? Just a weird name.
Zingara is also weird.
