Default Southern Georgia

I"ve heard and little bad about Georgia. And actually I was skeptical about moving from my North West since I have been here all my life but with a transfer & such I went seeking & found many many positives attitudes about Georgia. The only negative I've heard are from My Locals [Idaho] that have not even been to Georgia! I wish any one good luck since I'll be one of them on the adventure of a life time. But honestly I have heard you make what you want of a situation. Right?

You're right..it's definitely the adventure of a life time! We moved down here from Ct.I was so glad to be out of the cold weather! We moved with 4 kids, a dog, cat and bird! My youngest was starting first grade...ten years later, we have moved once, 3 kids are married with families of their own. They all live nearby and we can enjoy 10 months of nice weather (Jan. and Feb. are cold)nice neighbors, and friendly people wherever you go. You never know what you would have missed by not taking the risk! You can make things work no matter where you are! Best of Luck to everyone with their decision!

RETom, I grew up on LI. You definitely hit the nail on the head. Getting used to a different culture takes some getting used to. It sure is nice to see people being kind and polite to each other...I think because we are not eating mac and cheese and work like dogs to keep what we have, we are nicer for it!
