Default How to find employees in Peachtree City?

Hi,

We just relocated from Europe to Peachtree City. We are working hard to adjust to this new life, but we are loving it

Now I am starting a business here and I was wondering if anybody could tell me what the best way is to look for employees. I was told that posting the job somewhere will generate probably 500 resumes, with a good chance that none of these will be interesting.

Are there networking groups or matching events in this area you could go to?

A lot depends on the type of business- the strategies for hiring employees for a coffee shop are far different than the strategies for staffing a high-tech firm. Can you give us a little more info on the type of business??

Thank you for your reply. You are absolutely right and I am sorry for not being more specific...

We are a Dutch software company that has developed a software based medical system. This system is now widely used in Europe and this year we decided to make the big jump to the US. So what I am looking for is sales professionals and service engineers for now. Since we are working with doctors, we need sales people that can build a relationship, so not a slick "car salesperson".

We work out of an office south of Atlanta and at this time we don't see any opportunities for telecommuting. So my search has to be very specific for this area.

Hope this helps and you have some suggestions for me.
