Default Looking for cabin rental ideas in northern Georgia...

Hey, guys...

My wife and I want to spend a weekend in northern Georgia. The main part of the trip will be a ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway (probably on a Sunday afternoon), but we also want to spend the previous Friday and Saturday nights in a cabin which is within a short driving distance from the train.

Does anyone have any ideas? I've found a number of web sites which advertise cabins for rent of various sizes, and we don't really have a price range (though I guess it would be nice if we could get two nights for $400 or less), but I'm a bit overwhelmed by the choices.

My wife is also concerned about the possibility of cedar wood inside (her lungs react very strongly to the smell of cedar and her throat closes up).

Any ideas or recommendations?

Thanks!

We have rented several cabins in the mountains through VRBO.com (vacation rental by owner). They've all worked out well. The prices ranged from $125-$185 per night and most were new/newer.
