Default horses in georgia

we live in Townsend Georgia. It is about 35 miles south east of Savannah. Our community, Belvedere Island Plantation, is an equestrian community. We also have a pool, tennis, a boat lift. We are on the South Newport River. We are 20 mins, by boat, from the Intercoastal Waterway. It is a beautiful community. If you would like more iinfo you can contact me at judiemac@comcast.net Right now we have 3 horses living here. We have a 23 acre beautiful pasture and a 7 stall barn.

There are also several houses for sale that have 5 acre tracts.

Let me know if you are interested or know someone who is interested. We are trying to keep this area for horse people.

Where in the world is Barrow COunty. I love the sound of the place with the house sitting atop of the barn.

for sure, check out the large animal vets in each area. there is a shortage of them. proximity to athens is a plus with the UGA Vet School handy. also check out ordinances. i just read in our athens paper how a 'wacko' managed to get a horse operation shut down because she was offended by farm odors. don't ask me. just beware that there is no shortage of environmental and animal wackos around to make life miserable. i hope u do lots of research.

good luck.

Forsyth County has a huge equestrian community. Lots of horse farms and plenty of mexicans to work cheap. Many farms are upscale but there are a few western style ones. Atlanta is not far if you need to get to the city.
