My husband & I are moving to Waycross. I am anxious & a bit weary but from what I have learned about Georgia the people seem just as friendly as Us Montanans & Idahoans. I am looking forward to this adventure & in hopes of meeting new friends.

Any informationg or events one has to offer I sure would like to hear about them. I'm leaving a small town in Idaho & I do hope my husband & I can enjoy Georgia & what it has to offer.

Also; My husband & I love to play pool. [billards] Are there any pubs, taverns or bars you can suggest?

I don't know much about Waycross except that I used to drive through it everytime I went home from Valdosta to Savannah. It seemed like a nice enough little town. Really growing nowadays from what I hear. As for pool, I don't know that they have any place big. Lots of the little pubs will have tables, but there's no real billiard halls there last time I checked. On the plus side, you're only 1 1/2 hours either way to Valdosta or Savannah, and both of them have a place to play. _
