Georgia or jacksonville fl
I need advice urgently! I am currently living in Miami, FL and I want to relocate to another city in Florida or maybe another state. I have been living in south florida for over twelve years and I am ready to get out. I am a single mother of two (ages 15 and 6) and I am having a hard time deciding where to go. At first my plan was to move to Peachstreet, GA., but I had a change of mind because I was not able to find any rental property that I could afford. Can anyone advice what cities or county are good to raise kids in Georgia and that has affordable rental property? I hear that the state of Georgia school system is overall very poor

Are you referring to Peachtree City in your post (Peachstreet? No such place)? If so, it is a lovely, family-oriented community about 30 minutes south of Atlanta. It also has reputable schools.
Jacksonville, like any city, has its' good and bad...you're probably going to get more relaible information if you post on its' forum.
I would also define what is 'affordable'...how much rent are you able to pay? I'm thinking that the Peachtree City area should have some viable options.

Only one thing is good about Jacksonville, " The Beach and the." The crime is bad. Jobs is all about who you know. If you do decide to move there I would choose the Mandarin area or Orange Park. Orange park has a lot of good shopping areas and more conviences than Mandarin but Mandarin is still nice. Public transportation is pretty good, they're always on time. In some areas you can even get a trolly bus for $2.00 per trip to pick you up where you live and take you where you need to be and bring you back home. I lived on Sunbeam Rd in Mandarin and it was pretty decent. Some of the people there are rude. The water is nasty and very hard on your skin. I moved to Georgia in the Acworth/ Kennesaw area and I must say it is a big difference. You must have a car here though. Some parts of cobb county is very nice. Try and find a job before you get here and that will determine where you should move. Hope this helps.

Nothing is wrong with Jacksonville, I like it much better than Atlanta. Not as much traffic, people are nicer, and its near the beach. I like some of the Atlanta suburbs better than Jacksonville but as far as comparing the cities of Atlanta and Jax, Jax is much nicer i believe.

Sorry, I meant Peachtree City. I am looking for a rental property between $800-1,200 range. I was in peachtree city this summer and I noticed that the range is between 1400.00 and 1800.00 for three bedroom home.

I've heard that Orange Park is somewhat boring. Does Mandarin have more activities for kids? Also how far is Orange Park from Mandarin?
