Default gainesville

I am looking for whatever info on gainesville that i can get. i don't know anything about the area or georgia itself for that matter. i want to know if it is safe, or has safe areas. how much, on average, is the rent. I would probably be moving by myself with a degree in clinical social work. anything that you can tell me would help.
