Fayettville (Newnan, Fayetteville: schools, shop, housing)

Can anyone tell me anything about Fayettville? I have already researched the schools, but would like to know more about the community? I have a friend that is a minority, that had a bad experience with racism there? Was this an isolated incident, or is this common? Is it a nice place for a young 30 something couple to raise kids? Is there any shopping/dining there? or is it a close drive to some of these things?

I am also looking in Newnan & PTC, which I have already been to & thought both seemed nice. Is Fayettville comparable to either of these? Thanks for anyone's input.

Suprised to hear about a racist incident in Fayetteville but they seem to happen to everyone at some point in time. Personally I love every place you have mentioned and all have great shopping and schools. I grew up in the area and it is very diverse and community oriented. I could recommend any of them but PTC first Fayetteville second and Newnan third. I enjoyed the people, schools, chruches and well everything about life there. Housing will be the cheapest in Fayetteville overall.
