Default Minority-Friendly in Washington, Georgia?

Thinking of relocating to Washington, Georgia. I know it's 2007. But does anyone know if Washington, GA is Asian-Friendly?

Thanks..

Chris

Chris,

Where are you moving from? I'm not too sure about Washington, but I'm Asian work in nearby Elberton, and the people have been very nice to me. Very charming and friendly people. The Hispanic population around here is growing, but not many Asians at here at all.

I'm black and live north of Atlanta but have been to Washington a few times.
I do not recall any Asians. What I recall is blacks and whites, pretty typical of smaller east georgia town. I would not be surprised to find hispanics there as they are the fasting growing population in Georgia.

Georgia is a very minority friendly state. Yes, there are always a few ignorant, backward cro-magnons, black and white, that create media attention, but most small town Georgians just want to raise their families and stay away from conflict.

If you go to Milledgeville, Georgia, north of Macon, you will find a small town where all races get along in harmony. I've lived in Georgia most of my life and I've never seen more interracial courtesy and friendliness.
