Smile Calling on retired military people in GA or the well informed!!!

Can anyone tell me about Ga and what cities (NOT ATL) are great for young military retiree's IE: Va hospitals and or clinics, state and county taxes, getting the most for our retirement money, property taxes, low to no CRIME areas , good house prices and value ,colleges and jobs etc (not in any order) ...

We are looking for brick or brick faced houses from 130-200 thousand dollars in a new subdivision or 1-5 years old w/ a basement if possible, not a MUST but a plus.

Tell me about the up and coming new areas of housing and job markets..Do tell ALL there is to know before we make this move to GA.

Looking before I leap...
